Fake History at the Bauhaus

This is a biography about an artist who never existed. Or did he? In order to fabricate a believable story I compiled research based from true events in order to create Joost Vanderbilt’s artifacts from his life. He was architect, designer and artist that attended the first years of the Bauhaus school in Weimar Germany during the early part of the century. He survived World War I and then joined the school in efforts to seek peace. Unfortunately his career was short lived after graduation and eventually moving to Chicago as political tensions rose in Germany before WWII.

Vanderbilt’s composition blocks not only helped him with painting layouts but also in architecture.
